Pistikoudis George is a sales man in the
internet industry. He has been looking at the stars since he was 14
years old. Born in Ptolemais, northern Greece, he now lives in Thessalonica,
northern Greece, with his family. He is an active member of the local
amateur astronomy club Friends
Of Astronomy and member of Club
of Amateur Astronomers. George splits his time in doing amateur
astronomy, between supernova hunting and sky observing. George enjoys
the night sky in mount Paiko (1.400 m) with members of the local astronomy
club. He is doing planetary web cam photography and DSLR astrophotography
(Canon 20D). George owns a 10 inch LX200 GPS, a 3,5 inch Maksutov and
an 80mm Apo refractor.
