Panos Polymenidis is a mechanical engineer
who lives with his family in Thessalonica of Northern Greece. He is
35 years old and the most of his spare time is dedicated to his hobby
of amateur astronomy.
As a member of the local amateur astronomy club O.F.A.
he enjoys night sky especially deep sky objects with his 6" F/5 reflector
in mount Paiko (1400m) and other members of the club. He is also interested
in astrophotography working with 60mm refractor as a guidescope and
Atik 1C modified webcam or Olympus OM-1.
Panos is also doing supernova hunting as a member of the supernova team.
